Overview

The FT-SFP-BIDI-10 is a 1.25 Gbps single-fiber BiDi SFP transceiver engineered for long single-strand Gigabit links. Transmit and receive share one single-mode fiber through CWDM WDM filtering on a single LC/SC simplex port, and the generous 33 dB power budget keeps long spans well within margin. Full-duplex Gigabit service rides a single fiber, doubling the effective capacity of existing fiber plant.

Like all BiDi modules, it deploys with a complementary-wavelength partner at the far end, each side transmitting on the wavelength the other receives. The standard SFP form factor fits any SFP cage, so upgrading constrained routes to single-fiber Gigabit takes only a module swap.
