Overview

The FT-SFP-BIDI-1310-8 is a compact 1.25 Gbps BiDi SFP transceiver that moves full-duplex traffic over a single fiber strand. Transmitting at 1550 nm and receiving at 1310 nm, it separates the two directions by wavelength, delivering bidirectional Gigabit service where fiber counts are tight. Reach is rated at 1 km over multimode fiber.

The SFP form factor with a single LC or SC connector keeps panel density high while cutting fiber usage in half. It suits enterprise risers, campus distribution and access tails where only one strand reaches the far end — paired with the complementary BiDi unit, the pair forms a complete single-fiber link without trenching new cable.
