Overview

The FT-SFP-BIDI-1310-13 is a 1.25 Gbps single-fiber SFP transceiver built for 40 km links. It transmits at 1490 nm and receives at 1310 nm over one strand of single-mode fiber, relying on bidirectional WDM to separate the two directions, and it must be matched at the far end with a module using TX 1310 nm / RX 1490 nm. This combination of wavelength efficiency and 40 km reach suits suburban rings and regional backhaul where a single available strand must carry duplex traffic. The hot-swappable SFP package with a simplex LC/SC interface goes into powered equipment without downtime.
