1.25G SFP 1310/1550nm BiDi 60km Single-Fiber Transceiver

Overview

The FT-SFP-BIDI-1310-14 is a 1.25 Gbps SFP transceiver that combines bidirectional WDM with a long 60 km reach on a single strand of single-mode fiber. Transmit traffic goes out at 1310 nm while receive traffic arrives at 1550 nm, and the link requires a partner module at the remote site with the mirrored pairing (TX 1550 nm / RX 1310 nm). The compact SFP form factor keeps power and slot consumption low, and hot-swap support means the module can be fitted into operating equipment. With one fiber doing the work of two, operators can stretch gigabit connectivity across rural or inter-city routes without doubling their fiber inventory.
