1.25G SFP CWDM 1270-1450nm 40-100km Optical Transceiver

Overview

The FT-SFP-1-25G-40KM-1270 is a 1.25 Gbps CWDM SFP optical transceiver covering the 1270 nm to 1450 nm wavelength window, with model variants rated for 40 km to 100 km over single-mode fiber. Coarse wavelength division multiplexing lets multiple channels share one fiber pair, so carriers can multiply the capacity of existing outside plant without laying new cable. The module uses a duplex LC interface in the standard hot-pluggable SFP form factor and drops into existing Gigabit Ethernet and access transport equipment. It is part of the F-tone Networks 1.25G CWDM family for metro and access aggregation networks.
