Product details
Overview
The FT-1040-8 merges a 1040 nm polarization-maintaining isolator with a tap function in a single Faraday-based hybrid. The isolator section suppresses back reflections that would disturb compact fiber amplifiers and fiber lasers. The tap port draws off a small fixed share of the signal for power monitoring, removing the need for a separate coupler. The hybrid keeps the PM state intact and targets high isolation, high extinction ratio and high return loss. It fits compact fiber optical systems where board space and part count matter. Tap ratio, insertion loss and power ratings appear in the specification table.
