1064nm/1550nm 3W Polarization Maintaining Fused WDM

Overview

The FT-1064-90 is a polarization-maintaining fused wavelength division multiplexer that joins or separates the 1064 nm and 1550 nm bands in one fused device. Rated for 3 W of continuous-wave optical power, it fits pump-signal coupling in EDFA and fiber laser chains where higher power handling is required. The fused taper construction keeps the package compact and mechanically simple, with no free-space optics to align. The design targets high extinction ratio, high isolation and low insertion loss while preserving polarization state on both ports. It suits coherent communication links, testing instruments and fiber sensor systems.
