1-Channel Simplex DWDM OADM, East or West Traffic, 1RU Rack Mount

The FT-3943 is a single-channel DWDM optical add/drop multiplexer for east or west traffic, packaged in a 1U 19-inch rack-mount chassis. Using high-performance thin-film filter technology, it adds or drops one 100 GHz (0.8 nm) DWDM channel while passing the rest of the trunk wavelengths through. The device is entirely passive, needs no power supply, and reaches metro distances of up to 80 km. Protocol and rate transparency up to 10 Gbps keeps it compatible with a wide range of transponders and legacy services. Connector types, monitor port, express port and 1310 nm passband options are available to order, and a 200 GHz grid version can be supplied on request.
