1-Channel Duplex DWDM OADM 100GHz, 1RU Rack Mount, East-and-West

The FT-3946 is a 1-channel duplex DWDM optical add/drop multiplexer for east-and-west traffic, mounted in a 1RU 19-inch rack chassis. It optically adds and drops one or more DWDM channels into one or two fibers while remaining transparent to the rest of the spectrum. The module follows the ITU-T G.657A1 DWDM standard on a 100GHz (0.8 nm) grid, with a 200GHz grid available on request. Common and add/drop ports use duplex connectors with LC, SC, ST and FC choices, and optional monitor ports, 1310 nm passband ports and express ports can be added. LGX module and pigtailed ABS box packaging are also available, and the dropped channels interface with F-tone DWDM transceivers on the equipment side.
