1-Channel Simplex DWDM OADM with East-and-West Traffic, Pigtailed ABS Box

The FT-3936 is a single-channel DWDM optical add/drop multiplexer serving both east and west traffic, supplied in one pigtailed ABS box. Two simplex common ports carry the west and east trunk paths, each with its own add/drop port for one 100 GHz (0.8 nm) channel, while the rest of the spectrum passes through. The entirely passive design needs no power and reaches up to 80 km in metro networks. Protocol and rate transparency to 10 Gbps preserves interoperability with installed transponders. LC, SC, ST and FC connector choices are available, along with optional monitor, express and 1310 nm passband ports, with 200 GHz grid spacing on request.
