1-Channel Duplex DWDM OADM with East-and-West Traffic, Pigtailed ABS Modules

The FT-3940 is a single-channel DWDM optical add/drop multiplexer for east-and-west traffic over dual fiber, supplied as two pigtailed ABS boxes, one for add and one for drop. High-performance filter technology inserts and extracts one 100 GHz (0.8 nm) DWDM channel in each direction while the rest of the trunk spectrum passes through. The entirely passive module needs no power and supports metro distances up to 80 km. Protocol and rate transparency to 10 Gbps keeps it usable with a broad mix of transponders. Connector, monitor-port, express-port and 1310 nm passband options are configurable, with 200 GHz grid spacing available on request.
