1-Channel Simplex CWDM OADM with East-and-West Traffic, 1RU Rack Mount

The FT-3944 is a 1-channel CWDM optical add/drop multiplexer designed for east-west traffic on a single fiber. It drops one selected wavelength from the passing CWDM band to local equipment and adds a new channel back into the trunk, while all other wavelengths continue through untouched. Channel spacing is 20 nm across the 1270 to 1610 nm band, and the unit is fully protocol and rate transparent up to 10 Gbps. Built into a 1U 19-inch rack-mount housing, it provides separate simplex common ports for the west and east directions with duplex add/drop interfaces on each side. Optional monitor, express, 1310 nm passband and 1550 nm ports can be configured to order.
