1-Channel Simplex CWDM OADM for East or West Traffic, 1RU Rack Mount

The FT-3945 is a 1-channel simplex CWDM optical add/drop multiplexer for east or west traffic over a single fiber, supplied in a 1RU 19-inch rack mount housing. It adds and drops a selected wavelength channel on one fiber while the remaining wavelengths continue through, cutting the fiber count for access applications in half. The module follows the ITU-T G.657A1 CWDM standard with channels from 1270 to 1610 nm on 20 nm spacing. The common and add/drop ports use simplex connectors with LC, SC, ST and FC options, and optional monitor and express ports are available. The device carries any protocol or bit rate transparently up to 10Gbps, and the dropped channel interfaces with F-tone CWDM transceivers on the equipment side.
