1-Channel Duplex CWDM OADM for East-and-West Traffic, 1RU Rack Mount

The FT-3947 is a 1-channel duplex CWDM optical add/drop multiplexer for east-and-west traffic, housed in a 1RU 19-inch rack mount chassis. It adds and drops a selected wavelength channel over dual fiber while passing all other wavelengths straight through the trunk. The module follows the ITU-T G.657A1 CWDM standard with channels from 1270 to 1610 nm on 20 nm spacing. Common and add/drop ports use duplex connectors, with LC, SC, ST and FC options, and optional express ports, monitor ports, 1310 nm passband and 1550 nm ports are available on request. As a passive device it fits point-to-point, ring and bus topologies, and the dropped channel interfaces with F-tone CWDM transceivers on the equipment side.
