Overview

The FT-2260 is a dense wavelength division multiplexer built on a 100 GHz channel grid and fitted with an LC connector. Housed in a compact ABS package, it combines multiple DWDM wavelengths onto a single fiber or separates them at the receiving end, expanding capacity over existing fiber plant without new cable installation. The 100 GHz spacing aligns with standard DWDM channel plans, and the LC interface matches common patch-panel practice. The unit addresses metro and access network upgrades, enterprise backbone expansion and any deployment where additional wavelengths are required on limited fiber resources.
