1.25mm Reel-Type Fiber Optic Cleaner for LC/MU Connectors

Overview

The FT-1-25MM-31 is a reel-type dry fiber optic cleaner sized for 1.25 mm ferrules such as LC and MU connectors. Each operation advances a fresh section of cleaning ribbon across the cleaning slot, so technicians always wipe ferrule end faces and exposed bulkhead interfaces with an untouched surface. The dry process needs no alcohol, solvents or compressed air.

Contamination is the leading cause of high insertion loss and reflectance in field links, and a quick wipe before mating prevents most of it. The compact cassette housing fits easily into a tool kit or patch-bay drawer, and the sealed reel keeps the unused ribbon protected from dust until it is needed.
