1-Channel HD-TVI Fiber Optic Transceiver, 0–20 km

The FT-346 from F-tone Networks is a 1-channel HD-TVI fiber optic video transceiver for carrying high-definition video over long fiber runs. One channel travels 0 to 550 m on multimode fiber or 0 to 20 km on single-mode fiber, at 1310 or 1550 nm. The video path uses BNC 75 Ω connectors with 45 MHz bandwidth and 108 MHz sampling at 10-bit. The unit is powered by DC 5 V at 2 A, consumes 6 W or less, and is rated from -40 to 75 °C with an MTBF of 100000 hours. The compact 104 by 104 by 28 mm wall-mount enclosure suits HD-TVI surveillance, traffic monitoring and campus security links where cameras sit far from the control room.
