The FT-263 from F-tone Networks is a 1-channel DVI fiber optic transceiver kit for point-to-point links. It converts the DVI signal into light and carries it over one fiber, reaching 20 km on single-mode or 2 km on multimode fiber. The pair works at 1310 or 1550 nm with 1.65 Gbps bandwidth and 10-bit sampling. The fiber port uses FC/PC connectors, with SC or ST as options. RS485/RS232/RS422 data rides the same link, and each unit runs from a 220 VAC to 12 VDC adapter at 5 W. Rated from -40 to +70 °C with FCC Part 15 Class A and EU EMC compliance, the kit suits conference rooms, digital signage and control-room video extension.
