FT-3917 50/125 micron Multimode Spiral Pipe Armored Temperature Sensing Cable
The FT-3917 is a single-fiber 50/125 micron multimode cable built for distributed temperature sensing (DTS) systems. A SUS spring tube plus SUS braiding forms a double-armored sheath that resists tensile and crush forces while keeping the diameter small for good thermal conductivity to the sensing fiber. The outer jacket complies with UL, RoHS and IP9 requirements, and the cable stays flexible and resilient for easy deployment in harsh environments. Typical attenuation is 1.5 dB/km at 1300 nm. It is widely used for fire detection in highway and underground tunnels, temperature monitoring in power cable tunnels and interlayers, fire monitoring of factories, halls and granaries, and safety detection along coal and petrochemical pipelines. Supplied in 2 km rolls.
