1-Channel Video Fiber Multiplexer with Reverse Data and Forward Audio, Single-Mode 20km

The FT-20KM-6 from F-tone Networks is a single-channel fiber video multiplexer set that carries one video channel, one forward audio channel and one reverse data channel over a single-mode fiber up to 20 km, plus a 10/100M Ethernet port. It accepts PAL, NTSC and SECAM video via 75-ohm BNC input, handles RS485, RS232, RS422 and contact closure data up to 115.2 Kbps, and codes audio at 24-bit resolution with SNR above 80 dB. The optical link is rated for a bit error rate of 1E-9. Operating from -45 to +75 °C with MTBF above 100,000 hours, the pair serves intelligent traffic systems, building surveillance and access control points combining video, intercom audio, control data and IP traffic on one fiber.
