1-Channel Video, 1-Channel Data and 2-Channel Audio Fiber Multiplexer, Single-Mode 20km

The FT-20KM-5 from F-tone Networks is a single-channel fiber video multiplexer set that moves one forward video channel, one forward data channel and two forward audio channels over one single-mode fiber up to 20 km. Video accepts PAL, NTSC and SECAM through a 75-ohm BNC input, while the serial data channel supports RS485, RS232, RS422 and contact closure at rates up to 115.2 Kbps. Audio is handled by 24-bit coding with SNR above 80 dB, and the optical link holds a bit error rate of 1E-9. With an operating range of -45 to +75 °C and MTBF above 100,000 hours, the pair fits traffic monitoring, toll systems and unattended sites needing video, audio and control data on one fiber.
