Overview

The FT-3891 is a 100-piece pack of shielded RJ45 modular plugs for Cat5 network cabling. Each plug follows the standard 8P8C layout for terminating twisted-pair conductors into Ethernet LAN links. The shielded housing adds protection against electromagnetic interference around the connection point, a useful property in electrically noisy environments. Supplied in a pack of 100, the plugs suit structured-cabling installers, system integrators and panel shops that terminate large numbers of network cables. They are intended for on-site crimping onto Cat5 cable for standard Ethernet network connections.
