Overview

The FTT-080901 is a 1U rack-mount converter that packs 1 to 6 channels of XLR audio into IP packets for transport over Ethernet, using UDP encapsulation to convert the audio service onto a 100M Ethernet network. Communication works within the same subnet or across different subnets through routers, suiting broadcast program source distribution.

The unit provides 6 XLR audio ports and 2 Gigabit Ethernet electrical ports. Power options are AC220V or DC-48V with redundant backup supported. The aluminum chassis measures 485 x 138 x 45 mm and weighs 1.75 kg.
