FT-225 980nm SLED Broadband Light Source 1.5mW

Overview

The FT-225 is a 980 nm superluminescent diode (SLED) broadband light source rated at 1.5 mW output power for this version. The source offers a center wavelength of 980 +/- 20 nm with a 3 dB spectrum width of at least 30 nm, giving a smooth broadband emission for high-sensitivity measurements. Output stability is rated at +/-0.01 dB per 15 minutes short term and +/-0.03 dB per 8 hours long term. The unit supports CW, internal modulation and external modulation operating modes. Output passes through HI 1060 fiber pigtail with FC/UPC or FC/APC connector options. The module version measures 90x70x18 mm, while the desktop version measures 322x220x88 mm.
