FT-40MM-11 12-Fiber Ribbon Fusion Splice Protection Sleeve with Double Ceramic Bar
The FT-40MM-11 is a 12-fiber ribbon fusion splice protection sleeve with a double ceramic strengthening bar. Built from a cross-linked polyolefin heat-shrinkable tube, a hot melt inner tube and a 95 ceramic bar, it protects and supports ribbon fusion splices inside closures. The transparent tube lets installers see the splice, while the sealing structure resists temperature and humidity. Minimum shrink temperature is 120 C for fast, easy installation, and the sleeve works from -55 to 100 C. The outer tube measures 42.0 +/- 1 mm long with 5.8 +/- 0.1 mm diameter; the double ceramic bar is 4.0 +/- 0.2 mm in diameter and 40.0 +/- 0.5 mm long. Supplied 50 pieces per pack.
