FT-20KM-2 C-Band Tunable Dispersion Compensation Module (TDCM)

The FT-20KM-2 is a C-band tunable dispersion compensation module that corrects dispersion accumulated by DWDM signals after long-distance fiber transmission. It compensates -20 to +20 km of fiber with a dispersion tuning range of ±400 ps/nm, restoring signal quality on 100 GHz-spaced channels across 1528-1568 nm. Tuning stability of -5 to 5 ps/nm keeps performance steady over time. Housed in a 1U frame with LC/UPC connectors, the module accepts AC 85-264 V or DC 36-72 V input and draws no more than 50 W. It suits operators tuning dispersion per span in metro and long-haul DWDM networks.
