Overview
FT-1-16-8 1x16 ABS Box Fiber PLC Splitter
The FT-1-16-8 is a 1x16 planar lightwave circuit (PLC) splitter in a rugged ABS box that divides one optical input into 16 uniform outputs, or combines signals in reverse. Built on silica waveguide technology with G.657A fiber and a 1.5 m pigtail, it covers 1260 to 1650 nm with low insertion loss and low polarization dependent loss, plus strong channel-to-channel uniformity. The ABS enclosure (120x80x18 mm) protects the chip in wiring closets and equipment rooms, while FC, SC, ST and LC connectors and 0.9/2.0/3.0 mm fiber options tailor each build. It meets Telcordia GR-1209 and GR-1221 requirements for PON, FTTx and CATV distribution.
