FT-100M-40KM-1310 100M 40km Fast Ethernet Media Converter Card

The FT-100M-40KM-1310 is a Fast Ethernet media converter card linking a 10/100Base-T RJ45 copper port to a 100Base-X SC fiber port. Its 1310 nm transmitter works over dual single-mode fiber to reach up to 40 km, making it a fit for inter-site and long access links built on Fast Ethernet. The card draws less than 3 W, runs from a built-in DC 5-12 V supply, and fits a 112.8 x 77.2 x 23 mm footprint. IEEE 802.3, 802.3u and 802.3x compliance keeps it interoperable with standard switches while extending 100 Mbps well past copper reach.
