1064nm Polarization Maintaining In-Line PM Polarizer

Overview

The FT-1064-41 is an in-line polarizer for 1064 nm polarization-maintaining fiber links. It passes light aligned with the selected working axis and suppresses the orthogonal component, raising the degree of polarization in the signal path. Placed between PM stages, it cleans up polarization drift picked up from connectors, splices and bend-induced coupling. The in-line form keeps the fiber path continuous without a bulky free-space assembly, which helps in compact amplifier and instrument builds. Insertion loss, extinction ratio and return loss ratings are listed in the specification table.
