100km DCF-based Passive Dispersion Compensation Module, LC/UPC

Overview

The FT-100KM is a DCF-based passive dispersion compensation module engineered for 100 km transmission spans. It provides -1670±60 ps/nm of dispersion with a relative dispersion slope of 0.004±20% nm⁻¹, matching G.652 fiber characteristics across the C-band from 1528 to 1564 nm. Insertion loss stays at or below 9.7 dB, and polarization mode dispersion is ≤1 ps. The module consumes 0 W, terminates with LC/UPC connectors and occupies two slots in the rack chassis. Commercial, industrial and military-grade temperature options are available. It suits long-haul DWDM backbones, 100G coherent line systems and link designs that extend repeater spacing.
