0.5m Cat5e Shielded Crossover Patch Cable, FTP, Molded Boots

Direct device-to-device links still need a crossover cable, and this 0.5-meter Cat5e lead is built for that purpose. The F-tone Networks FT-0-5M-5 crosses the transmit and receive pairs so two computers, or two switches, can talk without a hub or uplink port. Four foil-shielded twisted pairs of 26AWG stranded copper handle bandwidth-intensive traffic up to 350 MHz. Molded strain-relief boots on each end guard against bending stress, and the RJ45 plugs carry 50-micron gold-plated contacts for corrosion-resistant mating. The cable is wired to TIA/EIA 568-B.2, RoHS compliant and UL/CUL listed, and it passes 100% open/short and miswire testing.
